“No One’s Been Stabbed Here Since Friday” from Mongrels

This is another music video I completely changed the soundtrack for. Mongrels was a fantastically hilarious British puppet sitcom show (but for adults; basically, Family Guy with puppets and NOTHING like Pets) that aired on BCC for two seasons until its cancellation this past January. Like Family Guy, the show had random musical numbers, except that each episode had its own song. This movie, No One’s Been Stabbed Here Since Friday, is my favorite song of the whole TV Show, and so I decided to create my own version. While the video is not mine, or the song by Riche Webb, I redesigned all of the audio, “Americanized” most of the lyrics, and added my own big band, doo wop singers and voice actors. Enjoy!
